Over the past four months, I’ve been working closely with the team at Altia Intel as they continue to develop and strengthen their investigation technology offering.

Altia operates in a complex and highly regulated environment. As their product suite evolves, it is important that the way it is presented online keeps pace with that development.

My role has been to support the team in refining how Altia HQ and the connected product offering are communicated, ensuring the website reflects both the capability of the technology and the clarity buyers need.

Clarifying the Platform Story

Altia HQ brings together selected Altia investigation products within a secure, cloud-native platform.

A key part of the work has been helping structure that story clearly, defining:

  1. What Altia HQ is
  2. Which products operate within it
  3. How those products connect
  4. How the full investigation lifecycle is supported

By aligning the messaging to real operational stages, from intelligence gathering through to evidential preparation, we have shaped a clearer and more confident platform narrative.

Strengthening Product Hierarchy

As technology portfolios grow, structure becomes critical.

Together, we refined the way products such as FIT, ACOS, INSIGHT, CAPTURE and OSINT are positioned within Altia HQ, ensuring each has a clear role while showing how they work together as part of a connected ecosystem.

This approach helps decision-makers quickly understand the value of the platform without needing to interpret technical detail.

Aligning Messaging with Enterprise Buyers

Altia works with organisations that require strong governance, accountability and defensible processes.

Part of our role has been to support both the website design and wider messaging strategy, ensuring the structure, copy hierarchy and visual presentation reflect that level of maturity. The focus has been on clarity, operational outcomes, while also considering how users naturally scan and engage with information across the site.

A key part of the process was simplifying complex messaging and restructuring it into clearer, more digestible features and benefits. Rather than explaining the software in a heavily technical way, the content was shaped to communicate value quickly while still maintaining accuracy and depth. We also redesigned the menu structure to create a clearer distinction between the Altia HQ platform and the wider product ecosystem, helping users understand how the different solutions connect together.

When software supports high-stakes investigative work, the design and messaging need to feel structured, considered and precise.

Ongoing Collaboration

This has been a collaborative process, working closely with the Altia team to refine structure, strengthen positioning and shape a website that supports future product growth. Alongside website design, copywriting and visual direction, the project has focused on creating a clearer and more confident platform narrative across the wider digital experience.

The result is a stronger online presence that communicates the value of Altia HQ clearly while allowing space for continued innovation and expansion across the product ecosystem.

It has been a strong example of how strategy, positioning, design support and thoughtful messaging can elevate complex technology without oversimplifying it.
