Industry
social commerce, digital marketing industry
ONYX is a social commerce agency focused on helping brands grow through TikTok Shop, paid media, creator partnerships and live commerce. Built by a team with deep platform experience, the business needed a digital presence that reflected both the pace of the industry and the level of strategic thinking behind the service offering.
They approached Wired Creative to help shape the visual direction of the brand online, clarify how their services were positioned and develop a website that felt confident, modern and commercially focused.
We delivered a fully customised WordPress website, combining bespoke design, structured messaging and strategic visual direction to support both credibility and conversion. The project focused heavily on how the brand should present itself within the rapidly evolving social commerce space, balancing creative energy with a more premium and established feel.
Luke Townsin, ONYX Co-Founder said:
“We engaged Sarah and team to conduct a full site build and rebrand for our business. The team at Wired Creative were very professional in how they conducted themselves and we were delighted with the output. At each step it was clear what was required, what was being designed built and why. We felt supported throughout and know if there are any issues in the future they will be there to help. Thanks again!”
‣ The challenge
Defining a clearer social commerce proposition.
A key part of the project was positioning ONYX’s services as a connected growth strategy rather than a collection of standalone offerings. While each service needed its own distinction and clarity, the wider goal was to demonstrate how the different services work together to support scalable growth within social commerce.
To achieve this, we helped structure the website around a clearer workflow and customer journey. Services were grouped into two core stages: awareness and conversion.
Awareness focused on generating demand and capturing attention through TikTok Creative and TikTok Ads. Conversion then focused on turning engagement into revenue through TikTok Shop, Affiliates and Live Commerce.
This structure helped simplify the offering while making the wider strategy easier to understand. Rather than overwhelming users with disconnected service pages, the website communicates how each area contributes to the overall commercial performance of a brand within the TikTok and social commerce ecosystem.

‣ The design, direction and results
Visual direction, structure and bespoke development.
The visual direction was designed to feel modern, premium and digitally native, while avoiding the overly trend-driven aesthetic often seen within the social media space. Strong typography, structured layouts and restrained motion were used to create a balance between energy and professionalism.
Considerable time was spent refining messaging hierarchy and page structure to improve clarity and engagement. Service pages were carefully organised to explain how different areas of the business connect together, helping users understand the broader value of the ONYX offering.
The website was fully developed in WordPress with a range of bespoke layouts and flexible content components that allow the ONYX team to scale the site as the business evolves. Custom development and interactive elements were introduced throughout the site to support a more engaging browsing experience while maintaining usability and performance.
Alongside website design and development, the project also involved support around positioning, copy direction and visual consistency.
